November birthdays...

It's early in the month of November, but we've already had a few celebrations...and there are a few more later in the month.

Wednesday, November 5th, Jessalyn celebrated her 22nd birthday. It doesn't seem possible that 22 years ago we welcomed her to our family...in Huntington Beach, California! Thursday night we joined her, Sean and Sean's parents for dinner in Tacoma to celebrate. Can you believe that Terri didn't bring her camera? Yes, quite a shock, but ahh, there's always the camera phone, which didn't do too bad of a job!

Sean and Jess...sharing her birthday dessert!

Molly and Sis...
Then on Thursday, the 6th, it was Terri's mom, Sis', birthday and on Friday morning, Terri flew to Spokane to surprise her mom at a luncheon some friends were giving her. Scott, Terri's brother, also came up to surprise her. She really was shocked to see Terri and Scott as well as sister's Kris and Sarah and many of Sis' friends. Molly Lynch and Marilyn Sandberg put this together - they have been such great friends and were so sweet to put this together in Sis' honor! THANK YOU Molly and Marilyn!!!

And, just yesterday we were part of a birthday celebration for Luke, one of our favorite neighbors who turned two! He's such a cute little guy and it was obvious he thoroughly enjoyed his party, the gifts, the attention...and all the girls who came! He's got quite a personality and was definitely the light of the party!!

Jayden and Luke are great buddies...here they are tickling, but earlier, they were kissing...oh, young love!

November is full of even more birthdays...both family and friends...Patty & John Snyder, Lindsay Wernecke, Michael Swift, Michelle Winn, Megan Todeschi, Leah Borgerding, Samantha Hege and Miranda (Beloit!) - HAPPY HAPPY Birthday to all of you!!!

October Highlights...

Well, it's hard to believe that November is already here, what happened to October?! It flew by, but here are a few photos from the month...of course, mostly photos of Jayden since she's our favorite photographic subject!

The middle of October Terri went to a pumpkin patch with Josh, Mandy and Jayden...to get our pumpkins for Halloween. It was a perfect fall day...great weather, lots of pumpkins and some nice juicy apples as a treat afterwards.

Jayden is giving the hoola hoop a try...and not doing to badly for only being about 3 feet tall!

Terri and Jayden made another trip to the pumpkin patch with our neighbors, Greg, Leah, Luke and Amelia Borgerding. Again, it was another lovely fall day and Jayden and Luke enjoyed playing on the tractor together.

Here's a sample of the INCREDIBLE fall colors that we've had here this fall. The colors are spectacular and we can't remember seeing anything quite like it around here...it's what we remember the colors were when we live in Tennessee...we've missed those beautiful fall days there!

A week ago, we went to the park with Josh, Mandy and Jayden, to take some three year pictures of Jayden and some family photos of them. Here are a few of what we took that day

As you could probably tell from this photo, Jayden had had ENOUGH with the photos and was ready to leave...so we all headed back home!

You may be asking about Jess and Sean...haven't seen too much of them lately as they are busy with work and school. Jess is doing her practicum in a kindergarten classroom this fall at a Puyallup elementary school and although the first few days were challenging, she's gotten the hang of it and is doing quite well. A couple weeks ago, she got her placement for her student teaching and she will be in another Puyallup elementary school in a second grade classroom...she'll start that in January. Maybe in the next few week I can get some photos of Jess and Sean, with their dogs...if the weather cooperates...and their schedules!

Rick is just as busy as ever with work...he keeps telling me that someday things will settle down and he'll have more time at home and we can maybe get away for a few days together. For now, they work on trying to get through the trials and troubles with the new software!

We hope you all had a nice Halloween and are enjoying fall. Before we know it, Thanksgiving will be here and then just around the corner from that is Christmas...where does the time go!
